Can you see the differences between the rewards at a glance?
|
If the funding campaign hasn’t started yet be sure to do a final check of your Rewards lineup from a supporter’s perspective. Check whether supporters can easily choose the right Reward for them from the available options, and whether they can immediately understand the differences in the Rewards packages and benefits just by looking at the names and images. Then, use WAi to address any shortcomings.
1. Check that the prices and tiers are clearly organized
First, lay out all the Rewards at a glance and see if supporters can easily find options that match their budget and purchasing goals .
A. Options
- Do you have six or more Rewards?
- Are they distinct options with different purchase purposes, rather than mere duplicates?
- Are there distinct low, mid, and high price tiers?
B. Early Bird
- Is the best benefit available in limited quantities?
- Are the tiered discount rates or quantity differences clearly defined?
- Are the benefits of the early bird offer immediately apparent when compared to standard Rewards?
C. Sets & Packages
- Is there a reason to purchase multiple items together?
- Are the sets more advantageous than individual items in terms of price or benefits?
- Do real-life purchase scenarios—such as gifts, family use, or long-term use—come to mind?
Looking at data from successful projects in 2025–2026, the median price of the lowest-priced reward for projects that raised 10 million won or more was approximately 7,000 won, and about 86% of these projects also included higher-tier rewards priced at 100,000 won or more. However, this does not mean that every project must offer both low- and high-priced rewards. Choose options that fit your product’s price and category Options to Get Started Without Pressureand options that can boost funding results.
2. Show the differences at a glance with Rewards names and representative images
Even if a reward is well-designed, it’s hard for supporters to choose if they can’t immediately understand what sets it apart. Ideally, just by looking at the reward name and image, it should be clear at a glance whether it’s a single item or a set, how many items are included, what discounts or benefits are offered, and who the reward is recommended for.
A. Check the Rewards Name
- Can you immediately understand the differences in quantity and composition?
- Are any additional freebies or limited-time benefits clearly highlighted?
- Aren’t the names of the various Rewards too similar?
- Did you avoid using internal jargon or difficult expressions?
Name Examples
- [BEST] Set of 2 Main Products
- [Family] Set of 3 main products + additional items
- [Gift Set] 2 main products + exclusive packaging
B. Check the Featured Image
Rather than simply being a photo that makes the product look attractive, but should be a composite image that clearly explains what supporters will actually receive.
- Have representative images been uploaded for all major Rewards?
- Is the difference in quantity between single items and sets visible in the images?
- Do the images accurately depict only the actual contents provided?
- Can the contents be easily identified even on a small mobile screen?
For example, if it’s a set of three items, it’s better to arrange all three items along with any additional components rather than showing just one item in a large image.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. Do I have to offer at least 6 Rewards?
A. No. While our analysis of successful projects showed a variety of reward configurations with six or more options, if the nature of your product makes it difficult to offer distinct choices, there’s no need to artificially increase the number. It’s more important that supporters have clear options to choose from than the number of rewards itself.
Q. Can I use the prices recommended by WAi as-is?
A. We recommend using them as a draft or reference material for review rather than applying them as-is. Since the cost, shipping, fees, inventory, and margin structures vary by project, the maker must review and finalize the prices and reward options themselves.
Q. Can the Rewards image be the same as the product’s main image?
A. If it’s a single item, they can be the same. However, for Rewards that include sets, packages, or additional components, it’s best to use a separate image that clearly shows the actual quantity and the entire contents of the Reward.
Q. Do I need to upload images for every Reward?
A. We recommend registering a representative image for each option where the composition varies significantly—such as core Rewards, sets, and high-priced Rewards.
