Display ads may seem complicated with as many as six product options, but the selection criteria are actually very simple. Just choose the ad that aligns with your project’s current goals—whether that’s gathering sign-ups before launch, boosting payments right after launch, generating new interest midway through, or encouraging last-minute participation as the campaign nears its end. From determining which display ad is right for you to the actual setup process, we’ll walk you through it step by step.
1. Comparison of the 6 Display Ad Products
Display ads are advertisements that increase a project’s visibility to supporters by appearing as banners or project listings in various locations on the wadiz app and website. Since each product has different placement locations and strengths, rather than focusing on “when and for what purpose they’re best used’—rather than just where they appear—to make it easier to understand.

- Should you focus on a single day or repeat the exposure multiple times?

3. 6 Steps to Set Up Display Ads
Simply log in to thewadiz Ad Centerand follow the 6 steps below to set up your campaign in no time.
STEP 1. Create a Campaign
In the wadiz Ad Center, select the project you want to advertise and create a campaign.
STEP 2. Select an Ad Product and Run Dates
Popular ad products (Main Content, App Main Pop-up, and Packages that will be launched soon) may sell out 2–3 weeks in advance, so we recommend making a reservation.
STEP 3. Upload Creative Assets
Upload the the required images and text. Depending on the product, the project’s main image may be used, or separate ad materials may be required, so please check the specifications before uploading.
STEP 4. Schedule Pay Later
You can choose your preferred payment method .
STEP 5. Request Review
To run your ad on your desired date, we recommend requesting review. If you need to make changes to your ad creative, please submit them by 3:00 PM one business day before the campaign launch.
STEP 6. Checking Performance After Campaign Launch
After the ad campaign begins, you can view performance (impressions and clicks) reportsin the Ad Center.
4. Precautions Before Setting Up Ads
① Avoid Using Too Many Ad Products
It’s most efficientto start byselecting 1–2 products that are most essentialfor your project’s current stage andallocatethe remaining budgetto targeted ads and booster coupons.
② Late Reservation of Desired Slots
Since display ads operate on a first-come, first-served basis for ad slots, popular slots may sell out quickly. If you’re planning an ad campaign for an important date—such as a launch day— be sure to reserve your slot immediately after passing the initial review.
③ Running Display Ads Alone Without Targeted Ads
Since display ads are shown to wadiz supporters, their effectiveness is limited without new traffic from outside the platform. You can boost your results by using targeted ads as your foundation and adding display ads on top of that.
5. Final Checklist Before Setting Up Ads
- Have you determined the current project stage and advertising goals (notification sign-ups, payments, or brand awareness)?
- Have you visually confirmed the ad placement for each product in the actual app or on the website?
- Have you checked the Ad Center to see if slots are available for your desired campaign start date?
- Can you submit a review request at least 3 business days before your desired campaign start date?
- Are you already running targeted ads, or do you plan to run them alongside this campaign?
- Are you prepared to compare subscription and funding figures before and after the campaign launch date?
6. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. Can I run only display ads?
A. It’s possible, but we don’t recommend it. Data showing that 97% of successful projects raising 50 million won or more use targeted ads supports this.
Q. Is it a good idea to run ads for multiple products on the same day?
A. It can be helpful at times when you need to concentrate attention, such as on the day of a product launch. However, please avoid spreading your budget too thinly across multiple products.
Q. Do I need to create the ad creatives myself?
A. The “Launching Soon” package, “Funding” package, “Multi-Content,” and “Multi-Board” formats use the main image. The “Main Content” and “App Main Pop-up” formats require separate creatives.
Q. The slots for a popular product have sold out. Are there any alternatives?
A. You can substitute: Main Content → App Main Pop-up; Package for Launching Soon → Multi-Content + App Push; and Funding Package → KakaoTalk Push Slide-Type Coupon.
Q. If my advertising budget is 5 million won or more, what kind of ads do you recommend?
A. If you find it difficult to combine multiple products on your own, try using the wadiz Advertising Proposal Service. An advertising specialist will recommend a media mix, and you can receive benefits such as a discount of up to 1 million won on advertising costs and 20,000 free app push notifications.
