[Notice] Guidelines for Presenting Reward Details Using AI and Synthetic Content

As there has been a recent increase in projects creating content through various methods—such as AI-generated images and合成 or modified content— we are providing guidelines on content representation to ensure that supporters do not misunderstand the actual characteristics or quality of the Rewards.

While the use of AI or合成 content is permitted, key information that could influence a supporter’s decision to purchase a Reward must be presented based on facts that accurately reflect the actual Reward.

1. You may not present the Rewards in a way that differs from their actual key attributes.

If AI-generated,合成, or retouched images are used to convey information that differs from the actual Rewards in the following ways, the content may need to be revised.

• If rewards are presented as being available in colors, shapes, or configurations that are not actually offered
• If the size, length, thickness, or volume is portrayed as larger or smaller than it actually is
• When the brightness or image quality of items such as projectors, lighting, or electronic devices is portrayed as significantly better than their actual performance
• When products are presented as if they can be used beyond their actual operating range
• When the quantity, capacity, weight, or number of components is portrayed as greater than it actually is

In particular , even if the content is explicitly labeled as “AI-generated image” or “staged image,” it is not permitted if it could lead to misperceptions regarding the actual Rewards’ size, composition, features, or performance.

2. AI avatars must not be portrayed as real users or experts.

You may not portray the experience or expertise of AI avatars as factual in the following ways.

• When an AI avatar is portrayed as actually using Rewards or experiencing their effects
• Cases where non-existent identities, qualifications, or career histories are attributed to make it appear as if an expert or influencer is providing a recommendation or endorsement

However, AI avatars may be used if the recommendations or endorsements align with objective facts.

In this case, please clearly label the virtual character as [Virtual Character] or [AI-Generated Virtual Character]in a location close to the character. For GIFs or videos, this label must be visible throughout the entire segment in which the virtual character appears.

How is content that does not meet the guidelines handled?

If a supporter might misperceive the quality or reliability of a reward due to a representation that differs from the actual Reward Details, you may be asked to modify the content or the project may be hidden, depending on the likelihood of misperception and the potential impact.

When creating project content using AI or synthetic content, please ensure that the Reward Details for the actual rewards being offered are accurately conveyed.
